Star Wars Galaxy Cards Series 4

Topps Star Wars Galaxy Lives On (Post Saga Era)

With a new Era of Star Wars cards on store shelves, and after having skipped the Prequel Era, Topps decided to reboot the polarized Star Wars Galaxy set with 4 new series. Apparently there's a lot of Star Wars art out there (and some of it quite weird) and the Star Wars Galaxy set continues to be the venue through which it is showcased.

Star Wars Galaxy Cards Series 4 (2009)

In 2009, 14 years after the release of Star Wars Galaxy series 4, Topps released a series 4 set. The Star Wars Galaxy series already had mixed reviews and the community as a whole was very polarized in their acceptance or rejection of the set. To further fuel the flames of discord, about 1 in 6 base cards were riddled with errors ranging from missing lines of text, factual errors, and even common misspellings as well as misspelled names. Many collectors felt that Topps simply lacked a dedication to collectors because all of these errors were preventable with a bit of proofreading from a solid quality control team.
