Between 1993 and 1995 there were 3 series of the Star Wars Galaxy cards released during what would later be defined as the Modern Era of Star Wars Cards. We would not see additional SW Galaxy cards again until 2008. All cards feature Star Wars art by a variety of popular artists.

In the same style seen with the original Vintage Star Wars cards, the Galaxy series 2 base cards are sequentially numbered as a continuation from the series 1 set, beginning with card #141.

This set was available in packs and as a complete pre-built factory set. The factory set included an embossed silver foil logo on the card fronts that easily differentiated them from the cards that came in packs. The factory set also contained the six foil cards as well as an exclusive hologram card of R2-D2 and C-3PO.

Star Wars Galaxy Cards Series 3

The 3rd series marked the end of the Modern Era Galaxy cards and we would not see them again until 2008 (Post Saga Era). Unlike the first 2 series, the 3rd and final series did not include a factory pre-built set. Ironically the 3rd series was also the most popular, perhaps the idea of easily building an instant set was a turn off for collectors of the first two series. These cards are sequentially numbered as a continuation from the series 2 set, beginning with card #276.

  • Clearzone Cards: (6)
  • Etched Foil Cards: (6)

  • Un-numbered Promo's: (2)
